Ryan Kaiser graduated from the Master of Forest Conservation program at the University of Toronto. He is a former economist with the federal public service, where he performed research supporting policy on social, economic, and environmental determinants of health. With an undergraduate degree in geography and a passion for sustainability, Ryan recognizes the opportunities for mass timber design and construction to create inviting, sustainably-built structures that climate-proof our cities and transform the way we interact with our built environments.
Ryan has consulted in professional collaborations with the Toronto District School Board, Grange Community Association, Haliburton Forest & Wild Life Reserve, and Scout Camp Awacamenj Mino to initiate and optimize programs to meet strategic environmental management objectives. Through these experiences, Ryan has demonstrated his ability to engage and connect with stakeholders, fostering relationships that emphasize collaboration and data-driven analysis to support evidence-based decision making.
