On Tuesday, June 4, more than two dozen industry representatives met at DIALOG’s Toronto studio to discuss the Mass Timber Institute’s strategic direction, and to find ways to create an effective network that would be able to shape the future of mass timber industry in Canada.
No national network for mass timber research exists in Canada. The MTI aims to support research efforts to close knowledge gaps where needed, and to contribute to the coordination and delivery of mass timber research efforts throughout Canada. Improving access to mass timber research outcomes by key market participants is important.
A tremendous thank you to Craig Applegath, Heather Goddard, and the DIALOG team for hosting the event, and to all of the participants for devoting a day to this important endeavour.
